'El Chapo' Extradited From Mexico To U.S. To Face Charges

The world's most notorious drug lord has been extradited from Mexico to New York. Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman will face charges in connection to his leadership of the Sinaloa Cartel according to the US Department of Justice. The Mexican government was originally going make him serve out a long prison sentence there, but changed course after two high-profile escapes from Mexican prisons, including one where he escaped from his cell through a tunnel dug underneath the prison for him.
