Many good people called in to adopt bear and one Long Island woman was chosen. Kerrie Rank told Inside Edition that she saw the dog on the show, as well as Good Morning America, adding: "my heart just leapt and I just had to adopt him." She lost her lab, Zach, more than a year ago when he was 15.
