Israel is refusing to contribute to the costs of demining a sacred site in the occupied West Bank where Christians believe Jesus was baptised.
The Israeli military laid the mines and booby-traps around 50 years ago in Qasr al-Yahud, on the banks of the Jordan River, during the 1967 Arab-Israel war.
