The US Justice Department has formally appealed against a federal court ruling that suspended President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban.
The decision by a judge in Seattle came just a week after the restrictions were imposed.
The ban prohibits citizens of seven majority-Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa from entering the US for 90 days. It also bans Syrian refugees indefinitely.
Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from Washington, DC.
