Two new singles, two extraordinary women, but we have to break down who had the better comeback. Let’s start with our favorite California girl Katy Perry who returned with a deep message in her new single “Chained to the Rhythm”. The song has a super catchy tune, and fun reggae-disco vibes thanks to Skip Marley who is featured on the track, but don’t let that fool you.

Katy Perry who is an extremely vocal Hillary Clinton supporter is moving in a different direction with her music. With lyrics like, “So comfortable, we're living in a bubble, bubble/So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, trouble.” It’s clear Katy is trying to wake us up. She performed her single live for the first time at this year’s Grammy Awards and just in case you didn’t get the message before, she made it clear with her performance.

Her album is coming in the future but there’s no rush. When speaking about her album in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, she said, "I'm so proud of it. I think it's definitely a new era for me. I call it an era of purposeful pop."

Alright, now we have to talk about our girl Selena. Her new single “It Aint Me” has her collaborating with Norwegian DJ Kygo.

The song has a strong EDM feel which we like and deals with moving on from a toxic relationship, but everyone is talking specifically about one part that may be referencing Justin Bieber. You see Justin and Selena met in 2009 when she was 17 and just take a listen.

Hmmmm. Very interesting. Well those are two very different songs, but also two amazing comebacks. I need you to be the judge. Who do you think had a better comeback? Let us know in the comment section below. When you’re done with that click here to see 9 other artists that need to make a comeback! I’m your host Emile Ennis Jr, thanks so much for tuning in.

The Weeknd has released his new musical collab with Nav and it might be a major diss to Justin Bieber
The back and forth Instagram stories, pics, and now song lyrics are still flying betwee two of young Hollywood’s biggest stars
The Weeknd has allegedly made a very bold statement after receiving public backlash from Justin Bieber on multiple occasions. What has definitely become a very awkward situation between the two singers, just got a whole lot more awkward, thanks to some very telling lyrics in his new song with Nav called ‘Some Way.’
Take a listen to what appears to be direct response to something Justin said just last month.
Yes, we’re referring to that line “Haters gonna say this shit is whack” which is exactly how Justin described The Weeknd’s music last Month. But there are a couple other curious lines including “I just took that chick, and I know you feelin' some way” and “I think your girl, think your girl, fell in love with me.” Coincidence?

To say that JB hasn’t been “pleased” with his ex’s blossoming new relationship would be the biggest understatement of the century. If anything, Bieber has only gotten more outspoken. Over the weekend, Justin was asked what his favorite song of the moment is right now by a fan, and he sarcastically responded with QUOTE “Starboy by The Weeknd” before him and his friend literally burst out laughing. So, yesterday on Valentine’s Day, it was a little surprising to, once again, he is softer side that’s been hiding…
Now most of that is a quote from the movie Dumb & Dumber, so it could definitely just be a joke, and now that The Weeknd’s song is available to the public, something tells us JB will have a lot to say. Until then, I want to hear from all of you. Do you think Some Way is throwing shade at Justin Bieber? Or is it all just a very big coincidence…? Sound off in the comments below and then hit that subscribe button. I’m your host Sinead de Vries, and I’ll see you guys soon!
