Actress America Ferrera addresses a rally at the beginning of the Women's March in Washington on the morning after Donald Trump's inauguration, saying the new US President is "waging a war" on "the moral core of this nation." Hundreds of thousands are expected to attend, with the Washington Metro much more busy than it was on inauguration morning.

Last night kicked off Trump’s “Make America Great Again! Welcome Concert”, which prompted some savage trolling on Twitter…

It’s been a rocky road to Trump’s inaugural concert, as his team had a very, very difficult time booking any A-list performers or celebrities. Eventually his camp got Toby Keith and 3 Doors Down to headline the event, along with some other lesser-known performers, such as Lee Greenwood, DJ Ravidrums, and YouTube stars The Piano Guys.

Of course, before anyone could even comment on the performances themselves, Twitter had a field day with the less-than-impressive turnout at the event. Though there was no official count, MSNBC estimated that just 10,000 people attended the concert, compared to the estimated 400,000 attendees at Obama’s Inauguration concert back in 2008. Many twitter users joked about the huge difference, posting side-by-side photos of both events.

Okay those 2017 photos just look sad. But Obama did have acts like Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, and BEYONCE performing at his inaugural concert, meanwhile Trump was caught swaying back and forth during a few acts. This got one Twitter user writing QUOTE, “Stop dancing Trump. For the love of god this is awkward enough to watch.”

At one point twitter users pointed out that it looked like Trump was wiping a tear away during 3 Doors Down’s song “Here Without You”, to which one user joked QUOTE, “Trump was crying because he was hoping Hoobastank wasn’t already booked”.

Besides 3 Doors Down, Trump’s other big act Toby Keith performed while drinking from a red solo cup in between songs.

It’s almost too on the nose, isn’t it?

At the end of the night, Trump gave a speech where he commented on the “thousands upon thousands” of attendees that showed up for the concert. Hmmm….Maybe he was just too busy crying and swaying to 3 Doors Down to get a more realistic head count?
