“We know President Trump is concerned with appearances – especially when he's on television, or in front of news photographers or large crowds.

We also know that President Trump is concerned with hands – how large they are, how strong they are – just look at them!

Trump is also a well-known germaphobe. He initially shunned shaking hands with supporters on the campaign trail. As president, protocol compels him to shake a lot of hands, though.

And recently, he's taken part in a few handshakes that we'll just call "intense" for now – most recently, a bizarre moment with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday.”

“Being president is harder than Donald Trump thought, according to aides and allies who say that he’s growing increasingly frustrated with the challenges of running the massive federal bureaucracy.

In interviews, nearly two dozen people who’ve spent time with Trump in the three weeks since his inauguration said that his mood has careened between surprise and anger as he’s faced the predictable realities of governing, from congressional delays over his cabinet nominations and legal fights holding up his aggressive initiatives to staff in-fighting and leaks.

The administration’s rocky opening days have been a setback for a president who, as a billionaire businessman, sold himself to voters as being uniquely qualified to fix what ailed the nation. Yet it has become apparent, say those close to the president, most of whom requested anonymity to describe the inner workings of the White House, that the transition from overseeing a family business to running the country has been tough on him.”

Protesters made sure Betsy DeVos couldn’t enter a public school. John Iadarola, Ben Mankiewicz, Jimmy Dore, and Michael Shure, the hosts of The Young Turks, show you videos of the protest. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“Protesters temporarily blocked the secretary of education from entering a Washington, D.C. public school on Friday.

Betsy DeVos, who was confirmed Tuesday to lead the Department of Education by a 51-50 vote — the first time a vice president has broken a tied vote for a Cabinet nominee — was a long-time Republican donor and charter school advocate before her nomination by President Donald Trump.

DeVos was slated to attend Jefferson Middle School Academy, a public school in the District. According to WAMU, protesters outside the school included members of the Washington Teachers Union, Black Lives Matter activists and others.

The Washington Post reported that DeVos was initially blocked from her planned entrance to the school, and eventually used a side door.”
