Hidden Figures takes home the Actor for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the SAG awards--check out the cast’s heartfelt speech!
The cast of Hidden Figures had us all kinds of emotional with their moving, inspiring, and EXTREMELY RELEVANT acceptance speech...

Queen Taraji P. Henson took the lead when it came to giving the speech, and rather than giving a laundry list of people she and the cast wanted to thank, she took the time to talk about the film’s true message, and how important that message is in these tumultuous and uncertain times.
All of her castmates, including co-stars Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, listened on and gave nods of approval throughout her speech--especially when she honored the real life American heroes she and her co-stars portray in the film.
Taraji also graciously took the time to call out the real-life astronaut who the real-life women in the film helped get into space, which made her message of unity even more powerful.Best performance by a film cast was the final award given at the ceremony, and thanks to Taraji’s heartfelt speech, the whole evening ended on a powerful, inspiring, and moving note.
It was one of those speeches that fired me up AND made me go “Damn, I wanna watch that movie right now!”--so all in all I’d say that was a killer speech. Emma Stone wins Best Actress at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards
And if there was an award for giving the most entertaining speech, I’m pretty sure she’d win that too
Emma Stone keeps snagging awards for her incredible performance in La La Land. Tonight, she added another honor, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress, ensuring that 2017 is going to be an amazing year for one of our most beloved actresses.
Emma was noticeably shaken up as she received her honor, thanking her fellow actors before realizing the time was ticking for her to give her speech.

You gotta love her, right? The audience sure did, and yes that is Ryan Gosling who giggled along as his co-star kept it as real as we could expect. And of course, she thanked him too saying QUOTE “Ryan, you’re the best. That’s just the truth. No one can argue it.”
Emma then thanked her fellow nominees, Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Natalie Portman, and Emily Blunt, saying QUOTE “you’re the greatest and your talent and intelligence are mind blowing,” before showing her gratitude to the entire film industry.
