Moving up from a Big Block NA setup to a Twin Turbo 427 can really be a major adjustment, especially when it’s still fresh and you decide to work the bugs out over a grueling 1300 mile road trip! Tackling the challenges of RPM Magazines “Rocky Mountain Race Week”, this freshly Twin Turbo’d Ford Fairlane was put to the endurance test of 7 days of driving, 5 days of racing, and only minimal support! One of the most shocking things about this car is the fact it managed to average 18-20mpg due to the benefits of a 6-Speed T56 Transmission, although the 60’ times were a bit tricky!

This 398ci FSB, boosted by a single promod 88mm Turbo put down over 1300hp, and still had room to grow! It won’t be too long before its in the 4’s!
