20th Century Fox has debuted a new trailer War for the Planet of the Apes. The third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise finds Andy Serkis̢۪ Caesar and his apes forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel played by Woody Harrelson. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. The film also stars Steve Zahn, Terry Notary and Karin Konoval. War for the Planet of the Apes opens nationwide on July 14, 2017
According to a report from Variety, Veep director Chris Addison has signed on to helm the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake Nasty Women, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. Nasty Women follows two female scam artists, one low-rent and the other high-class, who compete to swindle a naive tech prodigy out of his fortune – a similar plot as the1988 movie that starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine as two con men competing to swindle an heiress. The film marks Addison’s feature film debut, with a release date yet to be determined.

Universal Pictures surprised the CinemaCon audience Wednesday afternoon with a screening of their upcoming The Fate of the Furious, the eighth installment in Universal's hit franchise starring Vin Diesel and the Rock. Star and producer Vin Diesel took the stage to talk a bit about the franchise revealing that the latest movie has something special planned for its audiences. He said: "As the world sees this movie, they'll see how it̢۪s the beginning of a new trilogy."
A new poster and trailer has been released for director Colin Trevorrow̢۪s follow up to Jurassic World entitled: The Book of Henry. The movie tells the story of a young boy who learns that his next-door neighbor is being abused by her father, and starts writing a book about how to rescue her. The movie stars Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay, Jaeden Lieberher, Lee Pace, Sarah Silverman, and Dean Norris. It opens in theaters on June 16.
In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Jessica Chastain was speaking about her latest project The Zookeeper̢۪s Wife when the conversation turned to the fervor happening with fans over her possible casting as Poison Ivy in DC̢۪s Gotham City Sirens. Commenting on the possibility of her taking on the iconic Batman villain, Chastain surprised everyone saying she̢۪d be up to playing the role, if it was the right fit.
